Whenever entering a new space for the first time, be it a restaurant, a school, or a store, eyes will immediately turn to you—and an interview is no different. From the moment you step foot into the building, the interview has started. Though entirely subconscious, people often form opinions based on how one dresses, their posture, eye contact, and facial expression even before introductions are made. But before even getting to an interview, you must interview yourself first. Employers want to hire people who are comfortable in who they are as a person first and foremost, as you become a representative for the brand/company/organization when hired. By first getting to know yourself and working on self-confidence and self-love techniques, we will then tackle the “walk” and “talk” of entering any interview and presenting the best version of yourself.
